Lets talk about a story today !!!
There were 2 Kids , Salim and Rahul. They were very happy with each other. They like to spend time with each other.
They love to play,dance and study together. They were enjoying a very good time of their life
Now lets take this story in another way...
There were 2 Kids , Salim Sharma and Rahul Gulzar. They were very happy with each other. They like to spend time with each other.
They love to play,dance and study together. They were enjoying a very good time of their life.
Can u all see the difference in these two stories... ??
Is that difference can change the end of these stories.. ??
Yes, this difference of their names can change the whole story and their life as well...
They were same kids, having same feelings, having same language...
but yet they were not same due to their " sharma" and "gulzar" surnames..
When a child comes to this world.. he was put in such mythical rules of our society that he himself forgets his own humanity..
Who is responsible for this..everyone blames everybody.. but is it right?
we are equally responsible for this... we are the ones who create their names...who tell them society rules... who tell them to hate each other
Who the hell we are to destroy the sweet little childhood of these kids..
Can't we tell them to stay together forever? can't we tell them to stay happy with each other, to not hate each other...??
Can't we remove "sharma" and "gulzar" from their names?
But...... But.... But... we are so obbsessed with our dirty minds... that we left courage and hope to take any step towards it and put ourselves away from this.
If we take this story in a different manner, can u see their full names... salim sharma... abhishek gulzar...
Can't we make a nation like this .... undivided... unresentful... ?
Can't we have a healthy child with healthy mind and ofcourse healthy society to keep him happy!!
It totally depend upon you.. how to take this social crime and to divide nation in caste system !!!
Its better to change yourselves than to blame anyone for your own faults.
Its time to take action !!!

ReplyDeleteYou raised very important issue, and i appreciate your efforts, but the thing is that often do we raise issues and hoping that someday things will change(see ur last comment, poor chap)
The thing is that if we want to change, then why dont we start from ours. If you really cared about these things then you should name ur childern shoaib or salim. (I dont meant to offend u.) let me tell u two incidents.
1. Mahatma phule starts female educations revolution by first making literate his own wife.
2. Maharshi karve weds a widow then he supports the very idea.
If you really want to make things happen then starts from urself....
